How to Prep Your Submission

1) What you’ll need (supplies)

  • New penny sleeves (standard soft sleeves; avoid super-tight “perfect fit” for raw cards)
  • Semi-rigid holders (e.g., Card Saver I; Card Saver IV/“1.5” for thicker cards)
  • Small pull tabs (Post-it flags or a loop of painter’s tape on the sleeve—never tape across the opening)
  • Team bags or graded-card sleeves (to bundle stacks)
  • Two pieces of clean cardboard per stack (chipboard or corrugated)
  • Bubble wrap / kraft paper (void fill)
  • Small inner card box (e.g., 200-ct) and a sturdy outer shipping box
  • Low-tack painter’s tape (never packing tape directly on sleeves/holders)

2) Build the order online first

  1. Add your grading tier(s) to cart (Solo / Squad / Legion).
  2. For each card you’re sending, fill in the Card Details in the cart:

Name, Series, Number, Language, Year, Declared Value.
  3. Decide on Shipping Insurance for the return shipment (recommended).

Declared Value is the fair market value today (recent sales/TCGplayer/eBay comps). It’s used for insurance & handling—it’s not a grade estimate.

Tip: If you have multiple line items (e.g., 5 “Squad” + 20 “Legion”), you’ll package each line separately and keep the card order matching what you entered online.

3) Sleeve each card (the right way)

  • Wash/dry hands; work on a clean, lint-free surface.
  • Place each card in a new penny sleeve.

Avoid super-tight “perfect fit” sleeves for raw cards—they can catch corners.
  • Add a pull tab: stick a small Post-it flag to the outside of the penny sleeve (not touching the card) so the grader can lift it safely.

(Do not tape the sleeve shut. No tape across the opening.)

Do not send cards in one-touch magnetics, screw-downs, or thick top loaders. Remove them first (if needed, carefully).

4) Into semi-rigid holders

  • Insert the sleeved card into a semi-rigid holder (Card Saver I is industry standard).
  • For thicker relic/patch cards, use a slightly larger semi-rigid (Card Saver IV/“1.5”) with a standard penny sleeve.
  • One card per holder. No stacking two in the same holder.

5) Keep the order & label the sequence

  • On the top edge of each holder, place a small sticky note:

“Order #12345 – Solo – Card 1”, “Card 2”, … matching the sequence you entered online.

(If you have multiple line items, label the line too: Solo/Squad/Legion.)
  • Double-check the order and spelling matches your cart entries.

6) Bundle safely (no rubber bands on raw)

  • Make stacks of 10–20 holders (max) so they don’t bow.
  • Slide each stack into a team bag or wrap once with a graded-card sleeve.
  • Sandwich each stack between two pieces of cardboard; secure with painter’s tape around the cardboard (not around holders).

Never use rubber bands directly on holders or sleeves.

Include a simple packing slip inside the box with:

  • Your name & return address
  • Order # (and line names/quantities)
  • Contact email/phone

7) Box it right

  • Put the protected stacks into a small inner card box (e.g., 200-ct).

Fill any small gaps so nothing rattles.
  • Place the inner box inside a sturdy outer box with bubble wrap/kraft paper on all sides.
  • Seal with packing tape.

Write your Order # on the outer box (corner or next to the label).

8) Ship to us (inbound)

  • Use a trackable, insured service (UPS/USPS/FedEx). Choose a box, not an envelope.
  • Signature confirmation recommended.
  • Keep your receipt & tracking. If we provide a portal or email for tracking, add it there.
  • International: declare contents as “Collectible Trading Cards” and use your actual values; you’re responsible for duties/taxes set by your country.

9) After you ship

  • Save the carrier receipt and tracking.
  • We’ll check in your order using your Order # & sequence labels, then begin the grading process.

Note: Your cart’s Shipping Insurance option covers the return trip back to you (per the declared value range you choose). Inbound insurance is purchased from your carrier.
